red flame swords

I have two red flame swords in my 29 gal. 80 watts 6700K. flourite, and I dose with seachem line of products 2x a week. my new leaves are coming in a nice drk marroom, but the stems are low to the ground and not growing tall. the leaves when I got it were long spindly and the color was mostly green . what should I expect from this plant?

I have never kept that type of sword but, swords take more nutrients from their roots than that do with their leaves. I would suggest getting root tabs to help growth.

i have had alot of those swrods and that sword is a medium-high light sword, if the leaves stay close to the ground instead of growing up it doesnt have enough light. root tabs are great for swords!
