I have a group of 5 danios in my 10 gallon and they are starting to develop red blotches around the gill area. So i did some research and it led me to believe it was ammonia burn and now I am just looking for a organically safe medicine to dose them with. They are still incredibly active but the ones with the burns, thier gills are pumping unussualy fast and I am starting to get worried, so any help would be "greatly" appreciated.

First you should do an immediate waterchange. When did you get these fish? Was the tank cycled? Did you put them all in at once? Danios aren't really good fish for a ten gallon, because they are so active. They will have a shorter lifespan now because of the damage. Hope they survive. Can you take them back to the store?

Immediate water change
What r ur water specs? Ammonia, NitrItes etc.

Hi..
Do you have a gravel vac or a piece of tubing you could use to siphon some of your water out into a bucket?
That's a good way to change some water out and make sure you add a dechlorinator to your new water (and that it's about the same temp) when you add it back in.
You could try some "Melafix" it wouldnt' hurt to put some in and it's not too expensive your local fish supply store should carry it.
Good Luck.
