Red Humped Earth Eaters

I just picked up a red hump about a week ago and he is a great litte fish currently 1.5" he lives w/ 2 green sevs in a planted 55g Does anyone have some info on these I belive the one I haev is a male since he has a big hump alredy but I am not sure if they can be sexed at this size :huh: Does anyone know :help: Also should I get him a friend or do they do better alone
