The first thing to know is that they are NOT fish compatible. Otherwise, they are quite hardy and don't need any special conditions or diet.

Oh man... Their cheddar cheese biscuits are the sheets! No seriously those guys are mad cool though. You should pick them up... Most crays are pretty straightforward in care.

Found this site the other day while reading up on blue moon crays. http://www.shrimpcrabsandcrayfish.co.uk/Shrimp.htm?Shrimpfr.htm~mainFrame

Probably wanna check out planetinverts.com as well if you haven't already.

We've got two of them. My husband rescued them from a crayfish feed a couple of weeks ago. They were really dull looking, probably from stress, but one of them molted this weekend and now he looks just like the picture that you posted.

This is the second time that we've had them. The one we had before never bothered the fish. He tried to eat a dead platy once, but my husband scared him with the camera while trying to take a picture, and he never touched another fish.

they're a cray that i would love to have and if i spotted one would be in my tank the same day, that being said they tend to not be fish friendly, i had one in my 10g for almost a year(started as a 3/4" long baby, ended at a 5") and he only occasionally caught fish and those were mostly dead already but they are capable hunters when they get hungry
