Hi
Here is an updated on the tank, I replanted Cyperus Helferi as it has grown and time to split
Add Anubius coffeefolia and Red Ludwigia (if I am right (Petsmart).
i just noticed a lot of bubbles in the back left of the tank like u had an air stone running. i always herd air stone and co2 is a bad idea because the co2 is lost due to agitation. me personally i do all the no-no's like having a sump on a planted tank but i have not noticed al loss like everyone said when i was building it. and if u have a canister filter check out this reactor no loss of co2 100% dissolve rate http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=24117
I have had mine for 2 years and 3 different tanks, still works as good as the day i bought it
I recived 2 sat plus lights and a dual ramp timer on fri. and i have to say i was not happy to say the least! First one of the 2 lights didn't work. Second the timer is absolutely useless with the sat+ lights, it will not turn the light off. the lowest u can go is 7% . so yesterday i connected it to a wall timer, and although it will save your time and ramp setting the timer goes in to a manual mode as soon as the power comes on. garbage! and lastly coming for t5 to those weak and i mean weak! led's is a joke. I left one t5 suspended 12" above the water and then placed the sat+ on the tank , it was about 1/3 of the brightness of the t5. and i normally have 2 t5's sitting on the tank, i even started an order for 2 more so that would have been 4x sat+. made a better decision and sent the whole order back. i should have known better than to use cheap as lights. Ill wait for my refund and buy the BML like i should have done in the first place. u can always dim those lights if u need to but u can't make cheap lights brighter! Lesson learned!
I am happy with my Fluval LED(Aqualife & Plant Performance LED). Even though it cost, it has more LED.
My plants are growing crazy and also Algae started and had to reduce one for 4hs. The other is for 6 hrs with CO2.
I have set it on Current USA Single Ramp Timer Light. Instead you can use the digital timer available in Home depot(GE is good) or Lowes.
I already trimmed the plants twice.Started High Carpeted plants also.
I too have the same Fluval LED on my 34 gallon tank but found it does not provide enough light coverage front to back. So I have a 30 " Beamswork LED on the tank also. This provides full coverage and my medium light plants are doing well. But this is still not enough light for high light plants IMO. I wish Fluval made a 30" version.

I updated my Tank, moving around some plants and adding some.
At present I am treating the tank for some bacteria/algae and its almost clear, in another day I will power on my UV and add all the Carbon and filtering and the tank should look more clean.
