Red Ramshorns

Just curious do these snails munch on plants?? Ive read and heard in a few places that these snails dont bother plants at all unlike other ramshorns (forgot exact species name), but I noticed that they have been indulging on my green hygro (and that plant alone). So whats the story with these guys?

there sitting on my plants right now, have not seen them harm them but they sure love em.
oh and there is 23 egg sacks today in my tank :eek; thats crazy!! hope you all like them and take them off my hands!

the plant isnt dying at all, healthy as it can be, but ive been noticing slowly the leaves being half eaten.. And thats the only plant that they ever touch. I will try and isolate them and see if its really them.

well unless they have a strain of columbian ramshorns in them i don't think its really them

now i think the cause is them not having much food available (or that they can find) so they go for the hygro, I added a zucchini last night will see if anything changes.

and that much damage. are you sure its the snails?

yup have mollies and 2 mystery snails in the tank. The mystery snails i know dont touch the live plants. I got the 2 ramshorns in a cup floating with some hygro leaves, will see if they will go for them.
