im on a budget and have a 65g tank that is moderatly planted and i want to add some co2 to the tank.have been using some cheaper fertilizers with nominal results. i know this cheap system is for up to 40g tanks but i think it will still help. Your thoughts please.

not a bad system..pretty much comes with what you need.. it issimilar to the DIY yeast systems

I'm using the same system while I wait for my malfunctioning paintball system to be returned. The results are still fantastic. Easier than DIY, yet effective. It should start within 24 hours. if you don't see anything by then you may need to recheck the mix. Check the date on the yeast package sometimes they are old in those kits.
i wouldnt even us it in a 20-30 gal system. your not going to have stable co2 levels. its best to build your own diy co2 and go with 2-3 bottles. in the long cun pressurized co2 is cheaper.
Will you see physical bubbles? I've had mine going for just over 24hrs, 24-30 maybe, and have yet to see anything. How do I check the mixture, do I have to remove cap? I just don't want to ruin the solution.
Someone in a later thread didn't think it was necessary to use a CO2 reactor in small tanks, but my guys at New World say its definitely needed, what are your thoughts? My tank is a 12G Nano Deluxe by JBJ.
The red sea turbo twist system is only 1L canister.
Normally people use a 2L bottle for a 10g tank. So that single 1L bottle will not be enough for your 65g. You would need atleast 2 3L bottles to give you a good level of co2 for a week or two and then you would have to recharge.
You say you are on a budget. Well buying that system for $30 would be a waste, going the DIY way you will save plenty of $$
