Red Shrimp - ID

I have had these shrimp for like 2 or 3 years -- I don;t think they are bamboo shrimp, they don't have the stripes that bamboo shrimp seem to have? Also - they aren't as big as bamboo shrimp I have seen in the LFS?

I think it might be something similiar to Atya gabonensis ? I don't know -- I have had "african filter shrimp/vampire shrimp" before and these aren't them -- these are smaller and are a different color, they also don't molt the same.

Ok - pretty sure it isn't a bamboo shrimp -- did tons of reading (I could be wrong though...) any thoughts?

If I had to guess, I'd guess either:

they are young bamboo shrimp that have some weird coloration from whatever region they come from, and haven't grown out their fans yet. They're slow growers.

or

they're something related to a green lace shrimp. The smaller fans look very much like those on the green lace shrimp I keep, and they're shaped similarly as well, and fit the size profile... larger than a cherry, smaller than a bamboo, around the size of an adult amano.

::Update::
I think I have a female and a male, because I think one is berried:

I got some shots of the male just now:

Any ideas on species? Are those larvae gonna need brackish? =/
Thanks for reading!

Yes, the larvae will need brackish water to mature. I think Atya scabra has been been successfully reared to the post-larval stage by a few different hobbyists in the Netherlands and Brazil, and there are scientific papers out there with protocols for this and similar Atya, but I'll need some time to locate PDFs.
