Red Slim

I used the search and know I have read some thing about it in these forums but can't seam to find anything now.

I have noticed a spot about 3 inches long and 3/4" wide of red slime. It looks like snot but red. is this a bad thing? What should I do to get ride of it?

Try doing a search for "cyanobacteria". In a tank the age of yours it isn't uncommon. Good flow and not overfeeding is a good place to start in getting it to clear up
