red-tail black shark attacking new algae eater

I have a RTBS who is about 3 inches and he leaves everyone alone. He feeds from the bottom, he feeds upside down on plants (very entertaining to watch). Frankly, he gets more harassement from my guppies than he gives. I have a lot of varied type plants, driftwood and gravel. He/she seems to be happy with all in the tank.

I know lots here say he/she will turn on me when he/she gets larger. I will continue to ensure all fish have adequate and appropriate food. If he/she turns, he/she will be moved to another tank! Maybe the key is simulanteous intoduction! Maybe the territorial thing can be minimized with that!

i cant count how many stories there are just like that. heck i have the same story but i didnt know it when i got it. one day it went crazy. i think its better to deal with something before it becomes a problem then after.
