I am contemplating buying a RTS but worry about my corries.
I know that shark can be aggressive and want to make an educated decision here.

also, does this shark require caves? I dont have any right now other than some flat stones creating kind of a shelf and he could claim the spot under that.

We had a couple rts (& red finned too, one per tank). Both kinds are very territorial & corys never seem to understand that concept. Our sharks killed a few by slamming them into the substrate when chasing didn't work. Not a safe mix.

If it is a LARGE tank, I would say over 75 gallons maybe bigger, it could work. But RTS are so unpredictable and can get very territorial with anything that gets to close to its "space"...cories are pushovers and wouldnt be able to handle a RTS Im afraid.

I have a RTS in my 125 gal with cories and I have not seen very much aggression from the RTS.But I also have several caves, the cories tend to claim one and the RTS and pleco share the other with no problems.

Mine is only 110G but ditto Radar.

Might be trouble since cories want to loiter a lot. They'd end up in shark territory and get beat. Too risky I think :)
