Red Tail Shark compatible with corys?

Hello guys,
Pretty soon i will be upgrading my 10 gallon tank to a 20 gallon high. As i was doing my research about the fish i might be interested in stocking it with, i really ended up liking the bolivian rams, panda corys, and red tail shark. I was wondering if the red tail shark would bother the corys or would they they be able to co exist peacefully together. Would a 20 gallon high would be too little to a red tail shark or the bolivian ram?

I say the tank is too small for a red tail shark. These guys get 5" are territorial and like swimming space. Minimum I believe is 55g for one of them.
 
for a 20 i'd go with the german blue rams, not bolivians.

and agreed on a 55 being minimum for a red tail shark (or albino rainbow shark since they are very much the same). my Hoover (albino rainbow) is pushing 6 inches easily and he makes full use of the 55. he's great with the various 10 cories in there and neither cause the other any trouble.
 
From what I've experienced in my own 20 high, Bolivian Ram's size and swimming room requirements are a good fit, but more than one (I believe 95% sold are male) won't get along. One will dominate and make the other miserable, in hiding or being chased. Other than that, they're adorable, hardy and are fine with most community fish like Cories, and this will still leave room for a mid-to-top dweller.
 
There are a lot of factors that go into fish compatibility. In general red tail sharks are highly territorial and do not want to share the same tank feeding space (bottom) with other species. However this doesn't mean you couldn't have a red tail and a cory together. If you have plenty of hiding places and a large enough tank for the cory to be able to get away from the RT, then it could work out. However a 20 gallon tank whether it fits an RT or not is just not enough room for any fish to escape harassment.

Also keep in mind that fish have personalities like humans do. Every red tail has a different personality so while most are territorial, another could be more passive.
 
or the fish could be like mine and constantly passive to the point where people think i pump my tanks full of valium, lol. minus the aussie rainbow tank, those guys are a bit skittish. i must've lucked out with calm fish, just about all of them, and that's across all my tanks and all my species!

I've had about the same luck except for two dalmatian mollies that we just totally over bearing for the community tank they were in. However when one of them died, her personality has never been replaced!
