One they i can assure you about all red-tails, they are not gentle. Wherever you read that throw it away immediately, lol.
red tailed shark foe or friend?

foe..... mine seemed all nice but one day it tried to kill everything in the tank. there are so many stories like this on AC. i had to move mine to a tank by its self.
hmmm interesting advice...
i was def planning on putting the red tailed shark in the tank last. that way everyone else knows the tank layout way better then him.
my fish used to have a Convict cichlid with them. he kicked the crap out of them, but when he got too far i took him back to the LFS.
I'll get a really small red tailed shark and watch him grow and keep an eye on him.
Anymore advise or things I should be aware of?!?! again, thanks to everyone for so much help.
