Easy plant to take care of. Selling a sprouted bulb with several leaves and stems for $5 for the plant in the photo. $4 for shipping. have two others. First picture is of how they get if given enough light. Second picture is the one for sale. Send me a pm if interested. Thx

Aponogeton spp. bulbs go through a period where the leaves die back and I hear people recommend putting them in the fridge in soil for a time then returning to the tank.

I had some in the past that did this but the bulb rotted. I assumed that it was because i didnt take it out. Am I wrong about this?
 
I have not heard of this. I have had these since Feb. And the leaves do die back, but only one or two and then grow back. They need more light and co2 then what I am giving them.
 
I like the look of them. better in the first pic. If I decide to go that route I will PM
 
The leaves turn bright red and bigger with brighter light, but I have them in low light right now. Thats fine, Thanks for your interest.
