Pufferpunk be careful. tangs are aggresive toward each other.Its best to only keep one per tank unless added at the same time from what I understand.
Red Turf Algae and how I beat it!!

I have 3 tangs and they only nibble at red turf algaes(as there are many types) I use 7 sea urchins instead. My tank is a 180g. Coralline algea grows rapidly in my system.
What kind of tangs do you have? I have a pincushion urchin that scours the rocks but skips the turf.Marine life is totally unpredictable.
I keep a Kole, a Red Sea Sailfin, and a Tomini(orange flame tang).

Oh, I thought it was the fact I haven't changed my RO filters in 2 years... Dumb meter still said 000 on there, just took forever to make water. Now that I've changed the filters, it says 009 going in & 012 coming out!
Jenny, use a hand held probe rather than the in-line meter. The in-line meters are usually wrong and out of calibration.
