I was getting ready to go to bed and as I was turning off the aquarium light, I noticed that my Zebra Danio had a red tint to them. They've never looked like that before. Should I be worried?

If you bought them as juveniles, there is a slight chance that they were bio engineered "glofish" and will bioluminesce red under normal lighting conditions.

You know I bought a few more danios to add the three I have now and they have a redness to them! My others one don't have that tinge to them, anyways I find it kinda pretty!

I've brought up an old post here but I've come across the the same type of "Tint" except that my zebra danio is green instead of red. Is this likely the same thing (bio engineering) with a different color?

could also be what you are feeding them
This is true. Foods containing lots of beta carotene contribute to another coloration of the fish or improving what color it has already.:)

Any pictures of yours, Spinner?:)

Glofish are available in various colors.:)

Is it a possible they are part glo-fish part regular zebra danios?. I wonder if that comes up.
