Red Zebra Danio?

my males turned orange/gold but my females stayed silver. maybe the males are just becoming sexually mature and showing color for mating displays. im sure there are many varieties from different areas of the world that we mix in our tanks, so color vairation is expected. i say that diversity is key in making it interesting.
 
There is no reason why glofish and regular zebra danios couldn't breed, as they are in essence the same. It would be up to the female to "accept" the coloration of the male, one way or the other. If they did breed, it would probably be an interesting mix....

That would be a fun experimental tank if anyone has the time.
