Hey everyone!

I was at my LFS today and I ran across some redline puffers. I didnt buy them cuz I wanted to do some research first, but there is little to no info on the internet about these little guys.

Does anyone know anything about them? I would like to know their temperament before I get one.

Thanks!!

Thanks Pappy!

And no juggalo they are the same size and build of a GSP or a Fig 8. But they are greyish and have a red line separating their bellies from their back. I think they are pretty rare, I want to go back and grab one, but my tank isnt finished cycling yet... :(

So I ended up buying the last redline puffer in the store a couple days ago.
From what little I have found/read on the net, these guys are vicious!

But this guy is extremely docile! I have him in a 90 gallon tank with lots of guppies to eat, and I even added some ghost shrimp.

He has not touched any of them! I was feeding them all blood worms yesterday, a ghost shrimp was eating a worm, and the puffer saw him and he looked like he was more interested in the worm then the shrimp! after the shrimp ran for maybe 5-10 seconds the puffer left him alone.

I'm sure he's like every other puffer and has a personality of his own, but he is so peaceful! kinda weird... :)

Want me to take a pic for you guys?

Ok, sorry about the delay, went camping for the weekend.

Here's a couple pics of him, he still hasnt eaten the ghost shrimp I put in there with him.. or ANY of the guppies, in fact there's guppie fry swiming around everywhere, wont touch them. But he eats the snails and blood worms I feed him. weird huh.
