Hi everyone. Today I received my refractometer. Got this one. http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~idProduct~CP2111.html
So the instructions say calibrate with distilled water, I did. So I then checked my tank. My salt was at 1.027 with refracto and at .024 with hydro. I then did a quick search here for refractometer and found this http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-06/rhf/index.php
I'm gunna try this but have a quick question.
Does the calibration water need to be the same temp as tank water?(weather it be distilled or a mixture)
Should it be the same temp as the tank water?

:help: Thanx

Depends on your refractometer.. I didn't click your link but most are temperature compensating.
