Hi Friends !

I hope all is well and great !

I saw a few beautiful artificial rocks and driftwoods today - I just couldnt believe that they're not real !!! Just wanted to know if these can be safely used in an aquarium ? I mean wont they fade away with time or wont they alter water chemistry ?

Kindly advice...
Thanks !

At a local Pet store...They seem to be very-very good quality because trust me I just couldnt believe that they arent real...will the colors be good and strong to remain permanent?

Artificial rocks and driftwood are usually made of aquarium-safe resin and should cause you no problems. Just be sure to wash them thoroughly before adding to the tank, as there may still be mold release on the outside of the object.

If they are being sold at a pet store, then I would assume that they are safe. :) I prefer natural though.

not always true.. some of these things are made for terrestrial tanks, and are not always made with the QA required for tank use. :)
