Hi Friends !

I'm getting some Dwarf Harigrass and just wanted some guidance regarding them...

Can I plant the whole thing with the pot attached ? Can I just burry the pot in the gravel and will it do fine ? or do I have to remove te whole thing and plant the strands induvidually ? (that really seems like a tough job...)

Can other plants also be planted in the substrate, with their pots (including the rooting wool) attached ?

Kindly guide me friends...
Thanks and Regards
Kush

lol planting them a blade at a time (if thats what you are referring to) will be a major PITA lol.. Just plant a small clump here and there, space them out 1-2" apart, if your lighting and nutrient level is good then it should fill in in no time. I also started to mow the lawn and noticed its growing in fuller.
:iagree: I have planted them individually and it works great but is a PITA as stated. Take the rock wool off as gently as possible and break it into small clumps and space them around the area you want to cover.

the more you plant it one by one the faster it will grow in.

Hi there !

I've planted the plants induvidualy and at the maximum of 2 plants together... I just pushed the roots in to the substrate and covered / leveled the sides of the plant with some gravel... Is it ok and correct method to plant the grass ?

Its been in the tank for almost 24 hours now, how do I find if the plants are settled and growing well or if they're rotting or suffering... what are the positive and negative signs and how much time does it need to know...

Kindly guide me...
Thanks !

can take time week or more to fully be rooted..... 24 hours isnt much it would be hard to tell.

Hi there !

Thanks for caring and for the reply...

So after a week, how do I know if the plants are doing well or if not ?
