Hi Friends !

I got a huge bunch of this Java Moss from the shop and I've kept them in the tank for about a week now. Today, when I tried to remove it, I was shocked to see so much of leftover-stuck food and debris in it. Just moving the bunch of plant caused my tank to go crazy with debris !

I've transfered the plant to a bucket and I just wanted some advice on how do I grow it in my tank. How can I plant it so that it looks good and doesnt get messy.

Kindly advice and help me...
Thanks !
Kush

really its a magnet for everything, but all you do is not feed so much and to run it thru the tank water when you do a water change :)

I typically tie my java moss to driftwood using fishing line or dark cotton sewing thread. Try and spread it out as it seems to grow better that way. When you are doing your gravel vacs you can gently "fluff" the moss with the vac to get some of the debris. Other than that, try feeding less.

Ya I placed my java moss in one of those betta cups and placed the cup in my gold white cloud minnow breeding tank. I got tired of java moss blocking out light, sticking in the filter, falling apart in the tank, etc.
