I'd bury only the half part of the bulb and leave the plants to establish. Do not be surprised if they seem to die for a period. I think it's their dormant period and will regrow new shoots again. I have those and they are pretty neat to have as they do not demand too much lighting as most plants do. Trim if necessary as these do tend to overwhelm other plants of lighting.
Just wanted some advice on which one should I plant as I have space for only one. Which one would grow faster and easier to keep ? Which one requires very bright light or will both of these grow under moderate lighting also ?
you can plant the 2 bulbs together. But once it fully grows one plant alone will be pretty big and cover a great amount of tank space (block light). So unless you are putting these in a 100g tank, i would suggest only using one of the plants.
I've planted one of the bulbs in the front-left corner. Should I plant the Nymphaea rubrabulb in the other front corner or will another tiger lotus will only look good here ?
