Hi Friends !

A few days ago, I had posted a few pics of my Vals which were in a very bad shape. (I've attached the pic again) Now the plants have recovered and they're all lovely-healthy green colored (I'll take a pic and attach it tomorrow)

Just wanted to know on how and when will the plants start to reproduce and produce new plants near them ? Will the plantlets grow from below the substrate at random places around the plants or can I see them over the substrate ?

Also when and how can I find that the plants have started reproducing and spreading ? Are Vals slow growers ?

Kindly guide me a little here...
Thanks and Regards
Kush

i started my planted tank less then two months ago, with 2 vals and i have around 10. The runners grow above the substrate. They reproduce fast even the runners have runners.

Kush:

You have them planted to close to each other.

They were "melting down" per the photograph but are now thriving per your text.

IMHO when the runners produce plants then transplant the offspring plants to remote locations in the tank.
