I'm looking at the Aqualight 48" with 2-65 watt lights for my new 75 gallon. For yellow and blue mbuna's I've hard that that combination works well with them. I don't plan to grow plants. I'll be keeping African Cichlids. They also make one that has 4-65's but I don't think I want that much wattage or would you suggest that I do so. I'm thinking if I find I want a bit more light I might just add a straight 48" regular flourescent for very little money. Thanks.

i would just go with the 2x65 fixture. if you're not planning on keeping any plants then tehres no need to go with a more powerful mroe expensive fixture. as for teh color temperature of teh bulbs it all depends on what you think looks good.

I have a coralife t5 fixture and it looks great above my 90g mbuna tank. It cost $50 at the LFS and has one 10k and one actinic bulb. Total watts is 54, I believe.
