Released Fish

melaluca ,pepperberrry, earthworms some good some bad.

We have "Love Bugs" here in central TX too. Might be the same things. Show up for about three weeks, around Fall. About 40 trillion or so. Big ones flying all over the place(thin, black buggers with a few hints of red on them) with the little(Males I assume) attached by the butt?

God, they're horrendous. Thankfully it's only for about three weeks.

What I hate most about them is if you leave them on a painted surface, they will leave pits in the paint. I keep a good coat of wax on the fairing on my bike. It helps but they are still a pain in the AZZZZ!!!

It's best to clean them off as soon as possible.

Even birds don't eat those things..

This is when you sit outside with your friends with a home-made flamethrower and torch some random spot and see like 50 little flames flying around.

I also see clown knifefish when I visit Florida, sometimes.....scary.

Hey if most of us look in our yards we won't see more than maybe 10% natives that's where most of this crap comes from. I live in E TN and we have an absolute hodge podge of non-natives everything from fire ants to sea gulls.
