Has anyone heard if this thing is even legal? Hunting without a license is illegal in most states--and very few allow you to hunt on someone else's license. Sure would get you in trouble in WY...
On the website it says that you only hunt unregulated animals, due to licensing restrictions. In fact, the more I think about this, the less I like it. By the way, did you guys know that there are programs that take blind people hunting? Now, I'm all for not restricting people due to their disabilities, but this seems kind of wierd. I don't know many details, but it sounds nearly as dangerous as internet hunting... :OT:
Depends--out here, there are a number of legal option to allow those with disabilites the option to hunt and fish. Most allow for assistance of some kind--either mechanical aid in pulling a bow, or use of a vehicle (healthy hunters can't shoot from a vehicle). I support these programs, as they allow people to get out there. Not sure how a blind person could really hunt--though I do know of a few people who are legally blind, but can still see--they have someone who helps them aim, though they pull the trigger.
I didn't click the link until I read some of the last posts. I went to a website a week or so ago that had a video demonstration and I was under the impression it was only target shooting (fromt he video I watched).
It appears someone will be around to prevent shooting an illegal animal, which is a good thing.
