Removing mild scratches from acrylic?

you can always look and see what they sell at auto window repair and replace shops. My friends old man works at one, and the sell stuff that can fill cracks, rock chips etc, with no damage, like it never happened!

A great idea for glass tanks

but acrylic is a different story-- and much more likely to scratch

the best way I have heard is to get some SUPERFINE sandpaper and sand the scratches.. and then buff them out

The scratches that I have were what you would get after sanding with 1000 or higher, wasn't able to get to novus before they closed but the crest did the trick.

Thanks for all the help

Scott

So the crest tootpaste worked ... So cool thanks for trying it out..... Now I wonder how much crest will be required to buff out a 55 gallon tank.:)

I can just see the clerks face now when I go in to buy 10 tubes of crest toothpaste.....
