I was shopping for a canister filter since last august, i was ready to get the EHEIM and or the Fluval 304 for my 45 gals, but after calling several LFS and reading some posts here about the Rena, i decided to get the Rena Filstar XP2 yesterday for 79.00 at Petsmart i just printed the petsmart internet price and showed it to the lady upfront the original price was 109.99 i saved some $$, i am now a happy rena filstar customer and happy for my fishes too.!

I am very happy with my xp2, i used to have the powerfilter and had a cloudy water for 3 mos... I Never had a clear sparkling water b4, after the XP2 i waited 3 days and until now its still crystal clear!.
 
If you guys read this message, would you tell me what wattage each unit uses? If watts areen't listed, then please give the amps that are listed.

amps * 120 = watts
