If your thread stays active long enough, you will likely hear great feedback for both. I run 2 Fluval 305s on my 45 ... great filters, quiet, easy to setup and do a really good job.

i like the xp3. i also want to try out the c360 i think the prices are close so look into that one too. kensfish.com had the cheapest xp3 i been able to find.

Thanks for the opinions. Looks like the XP3 is winning so... come pay day. :grinyes: I'll likely check ebay. I seen some good deals, but if it's not saving me much, I'd prefer a store. I left eheim out because they were a little more expensive. The man thing will kick my butt. He's already having fits because we have 10 tanks in the house. *sigh*
