I have a Tetratec PF150 power filter running on my 29 gallon tank. It looks like I am going to have to replace one of the cartridges since the water is starting to overflow in the filter box and going back into the aquarium. I have tried just rinsing it off with old aquarium water, but that only helps for a couple of days then the water is back up. My question is: Is replacing the one cartridge going to take away alot of the bacteria load? My tank is finally fully cycled and I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing what you all think!
