I would get a piece of wood not too long and not too tall, extending maybe 40 percent up to the top with some openings or roots, not a monolithic piece.
Is that plant to the right of the swords an anubias? It might look good on the wood in the center part of the tank.
By the way, I think your tank looks great the way it is. How big is it? You have it labled as a 29 gallon? Looks bigger.

Yes gmh - it's an Anubias but the leaves are so small with so many shoots. I am waiting for it to grow out a little bit more - got 2 rhizomes, one down behind the swords- I tied them to small driftwood. My tank is a 29g - it looks bigger perhaps I have somewhat big space in the mid. Did replaced Limnophilia, the one on the right, with hygro (cut the mother plants as it reached the surface). I am off hunting for driftwood now...

As for the for foreground, should I keep micro -sword in one location and let HC spreads out?

Hello everyone,

I am sorry if it is not right to bring this thread back again as I have been waiting until I find driftwood to add into the layout.

Unfortunately what I found were too big for my tank so I decided to use them and kick start with my 65G low light tank.

What I have been trying to do so far is to have existing driftwood into visibility, moving my plants around and add red plant to contrast. I am waiting for the foreground (babytears) plant to grow out more. Please help me more with the scaping. I absolutely have little idea about this.
