Rescued Betta Girls

Oh wow, having a betta sorority sounds exciting. Do you have anything else in the tank with them besides the male guppy? Would like to hear how this works out, might encourage my husband to try that with his 55.

Thanks RhondaAnn! It is very exciting! I have cories, guppies, danios, ramshorns, MTS, pond snails and briggs in there with them! It works great, the girls I have possess the best of temperaments, and do not pick at the snails or other fish at all. They do not even pick on each other! As you can see, I do have a lot of plant cover, and they are all live plants, and it is a 55 long, so they tend to hang out all over the tank, they really have a lot of space. The other fish do not pick on the bettas, except one of my male guppies is flaring at the big blue one for no reason. I think he thinks that it is a big male that he has to show him(her) who's boss lol. Other than that, it has turned onto a very peaceful tank!

Oh Wow, they're gorgeous! The striped girl looks interesting I've never seen that. Super nice girls:grinyes: Years ago I had a male and female, she was no where near as colorful as yours are.

And funny you said one of the girls play in the airstone bubbles, I have 3 blue gourami's who love to play in the bubbles, it's a riot!

nice fish
