He's a cutie, way to go saving him! He will definately be happier in a new tank! Oh he look a LOT like the 8 little ones I just got from ChefJamesScot.. awesome!
I know cories can school with other cory types (I have 6 in one tank of 3 different breeds, and they are all happy together). But if he's alone, my best suggestion is to just make sure theres a few nice 'hiding' spots for him.. mine love to hang out in little caves and at the base of plants. The coffee mug was a nice improvisation!
I don't know about the lean... but if he is swimming and eating okay, I am not sure it is a concern as of yet.. mine are all funny little guys who will hang out in all sorts of funny positions. =P
