Researching 100 year old books

You can find a lot searching on used book sites. For instance your 1902 "The Rough Riders" is a second edition. Not particularly valuable unless there is something special, like if it was signed or something. Probably retail for $20-$40. First edition would be worth quite a bit more, but a lot depends on binding, condition and such.

is a good place to search.

Many copies of Boners of that edition are available under $10.00
