I discovered Ich on my 3 clown loaches on friday and quickly got some meds. I did everything it said ie, dose once a day, raise the temp to 82 degrees, and add some salt. My LFS siad it would go away in 3 days. Needless to say, the Ich is still present on the loaches. It is only 2-3 spots on the tails but it has not gotten any better. Am I doing anything wrong?

Need advice.

On my last ich outbreak, my clown loaches were hit the hardest. I too felt like I did everything I could do. Unfortunately, my clown loaches did not survive. I have heard that they are particularly prone to it though. Oh, I forgot, they died shortly after the cysts dropped off and the majority of the disease was defeated. Good luck, my brother...

Check out the "sticky" thread on Ich in the article section. It's very good and you should learn all you need to in order to defeat Ich and not loose any fish.

my only suggestion is to try different ich meds. I can't find the one that I used a few months ago ( it was probably expired and a different label by now..) but it worked miracles and my 60g was clear within 2 days, I was amazed!
good luck
