Hi all,
Saw a nice fish in my LFS going by the name of a Reticulated boxfish. I've searched the forums and Googled it but can't find any info.
Just wondering if anyone has them or can offer any info on them before I think about buying it?
Thanks.

Common names suck at times. It is Ostracion solorensis, another common name being the striped boxfish I believe. They grow to about 4.3" and like other boxfish you'll not want them in most reefs. What do you have in your tank now? How long has it been set up?

Also if they die or get scared they can release a toxin into the water that will kill everything in your tank. They can be hard to keep best left to the expert.

Its a 103gall been set up for about 15 months. I've got a yellow tang, flame hawk, maroon clown and a few green chromis. I'ts a nice peaceful tank but don't know if I want to take the risk.
I wanted a longhorn cowfish but decided against it because of the toxin risk.

I've got a (sorry, common names) Medusa Coral, Hammer Coral, and a couple of Leather Corals. No clams and just the usual clean up crew (including hermits which I know will most probably turn into lunch).

There is the potential it could nip at a few of those, especially the hammer coral. Not familiar with the common name of medusa coral.

The boxfish and cowfish are from the same family and both can release toxins, The yellow tang may seem peaceful now but trust me I know from experience that they should be the last fish in the tank. I added a Majestic Angel fish to my tank with a yellow tang and with in a day the angel fish was dead tanks to the yellow tang. Adding a cowfish or a boxfish will only cause trouble.
