Thanks all! I've always wanted these loaches so I had the tank space, finally:). I had to switch lens around as they were playing around and I couldn't get a certain angle. The closer ones were taken with a standard kit lens with a macro filter and the others with a 50mm. No flash.

How beautiful they are! Do you need to have water running in the tank to make believe they're in a stream?
I looked into them last year but my other fish wouldn't like the water flow that high.

I have two filters running for them, a AC 30 and AC 50 both on medium flow. Will probably switch out a filter for a Koralia powerhead. Others have kept them in lower flow but I plan to add another hillstream species that need the high flow.

I thought so, they're so beautiful, love them.

They are beautiful! Great shots, thanks for sharing!

Great fish!
