Is there any one out there who is selling Riccia fluitans which can be shipped to Sri Lanka? if you dont know where it is, its a small island close to India :P
I couldn't find these any where in Sri Lanka. The guy who sells on ebay is from Belgium and I'm abit worried that it will take ages to receive.

I can pay by paypal.
Thanks!

Have you checked the legal aspects of this? Riccia is pretty harmless stuff but it does proliferate rapidly...and being native to Brazil would probably spread wildly in Sri Lanka if it got loose outside. Just want to make sure it isn't on any sort of restricted list for you.

If that's good, I can send you some. USPS says 6-10 days delivery.

It isn't a matter of finding someone willing to ship, it's finding a seller who's arranged for the necessary permits to export aquatic plants legally. Otherwise, those transactions cannot be arranged through this site.

I have bought aquarium plants from ebay before, so far no legal issues though.
I'll check ask some one locally about this let you know.

Oh. Didn't realize there were restrictions from this end. Sorry.

Although a search seems to suggest that the only items restricted from being shipped for non-commercial purposes are those on the Endangered Species List. Is there a sticky anywhere that clarifies just what the rules are? And from whom these permits need to be obtained?
