Where is the seller located? Maybe it was too warm in her area for a heat pack to be included with the shrimp, but she included the heat pack for when the shrimp would experience a colder climate in OH. The first time I got shrimp through the mail, they all died from being overheated. It was late April, and the weather here in GA was in the high 70's/low 80's. The seller was in CA, maybe it was cooler where he was. Anyhow, when the box came in the mail, the box was very warm and I could smell something dead. I opened the box and there was a heat pack that felt like it was 90-something degrees F, and a breather bag with little orange shrimp bodies floating in it. I was very dismayed, but the seller replaced my shrimp, didn't include a heat pack and the second batch of shrimp made it! It's tricky when people sell live animals to others living in completely different climates.
