Rip Saw catfish

I don't own one, but a few of the public aquariums I have been to have them in their amazon displays. I know they get huge...

I just bought one the other day and I have read up on them and their size I just never have known anyone who has owned one. its about 5" right now I will grow it up in my 80 gallon with my smaller fish once its about 14" I will put it with my sa redtail in my 240.

that is why fish that get that big should not be sold should be more gov' regulations

WARNING: :OT: Government, shmovernment. But that's what will happen eventually, because no one seems to be capable of taking on the responsibility of their own choices anymore. If people could just think for 10 seconds about the consequences of their actions, maybe we wouldn't need the government to protect us from ourselves. Of course, that's never going to happen, so what we should do is let people who do things thoughtlessly live with the repercussions of their unfortunate decisions. :rant2:
Parker, when your fish outgrow the tank, eat them.

yeah and eat that chinese high fin loach and those knife fish and the arawanas and the 2 foot pleco , the 3 foot "shark" go ahead eat up
or do this when you see a fish you want:read:

 ***WARNING*** The words: "SA Redtail", "Common Pleco", "Pacu", "Clown Loach", and anything else that alludes to a fish greater in stature than a tetra or neon is considered profanity on this board and will be dealt with harshly.

Parker- save yourself the grief and post at www.monsterfishkeepers.com. It's more tailored to your needs. It seems people troll this board in search of the above words in order to start a flame-fest without considering that if you're posting on an aquaria board looking for info on a species, that you're likely thinking ahead.

This isn't a post entitled "OMG my ripsaw is 8 feet long and won't fit in my 20 gallon tank anymore, what do I do now?"
