well, it finaly happenned. i lost one of my seahorses today
he hasn't really been eating for the past couple of weeks, and he finally died today. i tried everything, and i just couldn't get him to eat. i saw this coming and knew he would probably die, but it still makes me sad. you're really never ready to come home to a dead fish in your tank. all my params are perfect, i do the water changes, tried different foods, tried live foods...the whole 9 yards. oh well, some fish are just finicky, and no matter what you do they'll die i suppose. thankfully my other one is doing ok. i'm treating her for gas bubble disease in a qt right now, but she's still eating and i hope to have her back in the dt either tonight or tomorrow evening as her bubbles have completely disapperared. at least this means i have an excuse to get another one soon...they're social and like to have at least one other seahorse to buddy up with. still sad though... here are a couple of pics in his memory...
