River Monsters

Goliath Tigerfish is one mean looking fish. And from the size of some of the ones pictured out on the web it gets pretty big as well. Hate to have those in my swimmin hole.

No one overacted like Steve Erwin did. ;)

I never really thought Steve Irwin was overacting, more like crazily over-passionate.

Absolutely, there is a difference.

I think the river monsters guy has a touch of the same. the narration is obviously melodramatic, but it's tv what to you expect.

Fish On! FISH ON!

Love the show! The Death Ray was AMAZING! Love the fact that she gave birth to (4) pups while they were doing there investigations. Them little jokers looked mean as all could be too. I luv my rays!!

He may overact from time to time, but I find the show to be very entertaining and educational at the same time. Think about it. If he acted like every other fishing guy on tv....yawn. Great excitement and enthusiasm. Then you have to really think about how you would act if you hooked into one of those monsters. Hooking a bull shark and pulling your boat several miles up river. Or hooking the ray and nearly taking your boat under. The adrenaline most be flowing at full throttle if you know what I mean.

love that show,.. and the ray,.. but this show make me wonder exactly what is in my river here 5 miles from my house,..lol the ohio river,.

and how big the cats are there,...:uhoh:

Well...I used to live in Golconda, Il. We fished the Ohio quite frequently and have caught some very nice size blue's out of there. My uncle can tell you some nice stories to of when they were working on the dams down in those parts.
