RNs 29g Biocube

yeah, i am not a big fan of the coral banded shrimp myself.

He's actually pretty cool to watch in this tank, he is out and about, in the other he was always hiding because he couldn't handle the flow.

But I've seen a few marks on the fish, not sure if they were from him but I'm not risking it

CBS look cool but yeah they can certainly be a pain. I've given up on most shrimp other then Sexy shrimp and Pistols. Wouldn't mind a mantis either just not in any of my current setups.

Beautiful looking tank. I wish you luck with it.

Getting new bulbs soon, have to pick them up, along with more salt.

Anyone have some unique suggestions on fish?

Not sure how I missed this. I knew you were getting a BC. Looks good! If you're going soft corals only, a pygmy angel should be in there. Flameback, Cherub, Rusty, etc.

this makes me want to convert my BC 29 from FW to SW! I may have missed the details, but is that the stock hood/lights? If not, what kind of lights? I saw a blenny at the LFS a few weeks ago and thought, I need to set that BC up for salt! Do you run a skimmer on yours?

It didnt come with a hood when I bought it, although I really need one. The evaporation is ridiculous, but it has a two bulb 20" t5 ho fixture on it right now. I ordered some new bulbs for it, since right now it has a roseate and 6500k bulb in it now lol.

Yes, you can have a pair of clowns with an angel, no problem. 2 clowns, a pygmy angel, a tailspot blenny and/or a goby + pistol shrimp would be a nice stock list for that tank.
