I would use Ro/tap water if it was more readily available for me. I don't trust the water from the fish store anymore. Plan to get my own ro filter soon.
I mix RO with tap at a ratio of 50/50. It makes a difference, since SoCal water is full of minerals. But only my highlight-Co2 tanks get this treatment.
