I'll take that one .
John has the coolest Scottish accent on the face of the planet. It is pretty strong. At first I couldn't understand a thing he said, but now that I've known him for a while I can understnd him perfectly. The telphone is still a bit rough sometimes. I wish I could imitate a good Scottish accent, it would be handy some days.

Glasgow Scot? Glasgow patter? My mother was from Glasgow. She died when I was 9 and I haven't heard the patter since then. She was hard to understand sometimes, too
