Rock is it safe?

I found some rocks in my attic that my mom said that my grandpa got on the beach. Their really nice have little indentures in them. They were used in a fish tank approximately 10 years ago, and have since been in the yard. Would these be ok for my tank? I am ok with the ph and composition as it'll be going in a tanganikan tank.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Luckydud.... don't forget to look at the holey rock I have. I planned to let you have some of that. Just let me know your 1st and 2nd choices. If somethings already taken then you might look again and make another choice.

Also, I'll be going back for more in a couple of weeks, if you don't like anything you see this time. I have pics in two threads.... go take a look and PM me.

Dont worry Melody, nothing will take the place of the beautiful texas holey rock that I am going to get from you. This is for a complete other tank, and I found them and said what the heck!
