rocks for african cichlids

So i am trying to find some nice rock to make my tank look natural. I love the way base rock looks but not sure if i could use it in the african tank. If anyone knows of anything please let me know and if you have pics of your tank post the links i need some inspiration. I found this video of a tank on you tube and love they way its set up. but can't figure out what kind of rock he used. It looks like base with some slate but could be anything.

If your tap water has high pH and hardness, slate and rounded river rocks are good choices. If you need rocks or a kind of substrate to increase your water pH and hardness, then you can use base coral reef rocks or Texas holey rocks. Also, keep in mind that it is a good idea IMO, to combine dark colored rocks with a light colored substrate or vice versa; to create a nice contrast.

for some reason i am having issues with my videos you may have to click on the HQ button on the youtube video to view this one let me know if anyone has to do this or if it plays automatic..
 
If you don't mind driving to Raleigh, NC I've got about 150lbs of lace rock you can have.
 
Thanks c8 yeah the whole darn tank has a lot of money tied up in it hehehehe well at least that is what my wife says hehehe wait til i get the 220gal the sand alone will be outrageous..
