I was walking my dogs and noticed some rocks that I wouldnt mind putting in my tank. They where near a "water drian" But the ones I want arent in the water.I took some pics. Would I just need to clean them and boil them and add them in. Or would you guys say no the them. Appreciate your input.

I got all my rocks in the creek outside of my house. I think I might have put them in a big bucket with a light bleach solution for a day or two, and then spent a few hours with a brush, some soap and some running water.

But heck, they've been in my tank for like 4 years now, so I don't quite remember.

Do the vinegar test on them. If you put a drop of vinegar on the rock and it bubbles, you probably don't want it in the tank as it will mess with your parameters. No bubbles...soak it in a bucket for a day or two to see if you see any parameter changes just to be safe.

you cant boil rocks

Really? I've boiled rocks to loosen up gunk on them before.

you cant boil rocks becasue any moisture trapped inside will expand putting it at risk for exploding

I think you need to take precautions, and more porous items like lime/sand stones are problems. Just heat slowly and not for extended period of time. I do it outside.

I have always just used a pot scrubber and hot water and thoroughly scrubbed the $#!% out of them and have never had a problem, I do like the idea of soaking them after that to see what they do to the water, I'd use water from the target aquarium though and probabley add an airstone. also you can boil rocks.

You can boil rocks to remove debris and also to exterminate any waterborne microbes or other unwanted invaders before adding them to your tank. But as above-mentioned, some rocks can affect the pH of your aquarium, so you might want to do the vinegar test and monitor how they affect your tank's perimeters for a week or so before you add any fish.

Also, if they are oddly shaped, be careful if you decide to stack them!! If they topple, you might end up with a chip, scratch,... or a disasterous crack in your tank!!! O__O;;
