I know that I am about at my stocking limit, but I was wondering if it would be possible for me to add 2 more White Clouds and maybe one or two of another small (1-2") fish. I originally had 3 white clouds, but one got sucked up against the filter intake and perished. I feel very bad about this, but I also think his (or her?) two buddies are lonely.

Please look at the list with my signature, and thank-you for all of the advice that I have been getting on this forum.

I kept a 29g tank that was stocked similarly to yours without problems. The bio-wheel is good filtration for a tank that size.

Best thing to do is to check your nitrates and develop a water change regimen in order to keep them in a reasonable range (< 50). I like 20% water changes, but smaller or larger ones work too.

as a cautionary thing, swordtails get to be pretty big, around 4" if cared for correctly, how do i know? i thought they stayed small, maybe 2-3" but my parents have a tub of them and i was helping them clean it one time when i saw a HUGE swordtail at the bottom! it might have been 5"+, definately more if you include the tail, so just be careful with what you add, if i were you, i would play it safe and leave your tank as it is.
